Tailwind Pricing 2026: Is It Worth It for Etsy Sellers?

Delzonic

Short answer: As of October 2026, Tailwind pricing starts at $29.99 a month, or $17.99 a month billed yearly, for Pin Scheduling & Creation with 300 credits. Pinterest SEO and Pinterest Engagement cost $14.99 a month each ($11.99 billed yearly), and the Bundle of all three is $44.98 a month or $29.98 billed yearly. Every plan is per Pinterest account, and each scheduled pin uses 1 credit, so an Etsy seller posting 10 pins a day will hit the 300-credit limit.

Tailwind pricing in 2026: how much does each plan cost?

Tailwind's help center now lists its old Pro, Advanced and Max tiers as legacy plans. Today it sells three separate products you can buy alone or bundle. Here is the full Tailwind Pinterest pricing as shown on its pricing page in October 2026.

Plan Monthly billing Billed yearly (per month) Yearly total Credits per month
Pin Scheduling & Creation $29.99 $17.99 $215.88 300
Pinterest SEO $14.99 $11.99 $143.88 50
Pinterest Engagement $14.99 $11.99 $143.88 50
Bundle (all three) $44.98 $29.98 $359.76 400

The "Save 40%" badge on the yearly toggle is accurate only for Pin Scheduling & Creation. On SEO and Engagement, yearly billing saves 20%, and on the Bundle about a third. Yearly plans are billed upfront for the full year. Monthly plans can be cancelled anytime, and access runs to the end of the billing period.

The per-account catch

Tailwind's pricing page says "All plans are per Pinterest account." If you run two Pinterest accounts, say one for your Etsy shop and one for a second brand, you pay for every product twice. Two accounts on yearly Pin Scheduling & Creation is $431.76 a year before you buy a single extra credit.

What are Tailwind credits, and what do they buy?

Tailwind credits are its universal currency. As of October 2026, the pricing page FAQ says scheduling a pin uses 1 credit, and that SmartPin and keyword searches draw from the same monthly allowance. Tailwind's help center adds that credits also power Ghostwriter (its AI copywriter) and Turbo pin boosts.

Three things matter for budgeting:

  • Extra credits cost $10 per 100. You can buy a pack anytime or turn on auto-refill.
  • Refill packs roll over. The help center says purchased refill credits can be used in the current month or carried into future months. It does not say whether your included monthly credits roll over, so assume they do not.
  • Per-action costs beyond scheduling are not published. Neither the pricing page nor the credits help article lists how many credits a SmartPin generation or a Ghostwriter request costs. Tailwind also says it plans to move more features onto credits over time.

That last point is why credit-based tools are hard to budget. You know what scheduling costs. You do not know, in advance, what pin creation will cost you.

Does Tailwind have a free plan?

Not in the way most people mean. As of October 2026, the pricing page says you can start free with no credit card. The help center explains that new accounts get a one-time set of free trial actions, while accounts still on the legacy Free plan get "a small number of credits each month." So the Tailwind free plan is a trial for new sign-ups, not an ongoing way to schedule pins at no cost.

Verified non-profits get 50% off any product, according to the pricing page.

What does an Etsy seller actually pay for Tailwind?

Most Etsy sellers only need Pin Scheduling & Creation. Here is the real cost for one Pinterest account at two common volumes, assuming you use your credits only for scheduling. A 30-day month at 10 pins a day uses exactly 300 credits; a 31-day month uses 310. There are seven 31-day months a year, so you need at least one $10 pack (refill credits roll over) even if you never touch SmartPin or keyword search.

Tool and plan 5 pins/day, billed monthly 5 pins/day, billed yearly 10 pins/day, billed monthly 10 pins/day, billed yearly
Pinsevo Starter $108/yr ($9/mo) $75.60/yr ($6.30/mo) $108/yr ($9/mo) $75.60/yr ($6.30/mo)
Tailwind Pin Scheduling & Creation $359.88/yr ($29.99/mo) $215.88/yr ($17.99/mo) $369.88/yr or more $225.88/yr or more

At 5 pins a day you use roughly 150 to 155 credits, which leaves about 145 for SmartPin and keyword searches. At 10 pins a day you have no headroom at all, so any creation feature you use means more $10 packs. Pinsevo's prices above are its founders offer as of October 2026, at 50% off "while we're new," and its Starter plan covers up to 10 pins a day.

Which Tailwind plan should an Etsy seller buy?

  • Pin Scheduling & Creation: the only plan most Etsy sellers need. It includes pin creation, smart scheduling with pin spacing, and website sync. Buy it yearly only after a month on monthly billing tells you how many credits you burn.
  • Pinterest SEO: keyword research and tracking for Pinterest. Useful if you are serious about Pinterest search, but 50 credits is thin if keyword searches draw from it. Our guide to Pinterest keywords for Etsy covers how to do this research for free first.
  • Pinterest Engagement: Turbo, Tailwind's community engagement tool. Skip it unless you have already tried scheduling and want to push your best pins harder.
  • Bundle: worth it only if you would buy all three anyway. Its 400 credits cover about 13 scheduled pins a day.
Pro tip

Before you commit to a yearly plan, run one month on monthly billing and note how many credits you actually use. If the number is close to 300 by week three, you know yearly billing will come with refill packs attached, and you can price that honestly.

Is Tailwind worth it for Etsy sellers?

Tailwind is worth it if you want the most complete Pinterest toolkit and will use it: keyword research, tracking which keywords Pinterest matched to your pins, Turbo engagement, and SmartPin generating fresh pins for a URL every 7 days. For a blogger or a brand with its own site and several content types, that depth is hard to beat.

It is less obviously worth it for a typical Etsy shop. What most sellers want is simple: take my listings, make decent pins, post them on a schedule, and link each pin to the right product. For that job, Tailwind's credit model and per-account pricing mean you pay for capacity you may not use, and you have to watch a meter. A 2024 Etsy guide on Tailwind's own blog talks about saving Etsy items with a browser extension and scheduling them, not about importing your shop.

Cheaper Tailwind alternative for Etsy sellers

If you want listing-based pins without the credit meter, Pinsevo is the cheaper Tailwind alternative we recommend. You paste your shop link, a listing link or your shop name, and it reads up to 100 public listings with no Etsy login. It uses your own listing photos, writes keyword-focused titles and descriptions, and posts only the pins you approve, each linked to the listing it came from. See how it can create Pinterest pins from your Etsy shop link.

There are no credits to track. Pinsevo's flat monthly pricing starts at $9 a month for up to 10 pins a day, with a free trial of 14 pins and no credit card. For a side-by-side breakdown, read Pinsevo's credit-free Tailwind alternative comparison.
