How to Auto-Post Etsy Listings to Pinterest (2026)

Delzonic

Short answer: Etsy has no setting that automatically posts your listings to Pinterest, and Pinterest catalogs cannot read an Etsy shop. To auto post Etsy listings to Pinterest in 2026, use a tool that reads your listings and schedules the pins. With Pinsevo you paste your shop link, review the pins it writes, approve them, and they post on the schedule you set.

Can you automatically post Etsy listings to Pinterest?

Not with anything built into Etsy or Pinterest. We checked both help centers in October 2026, and here is what each platform actually offers.

Etsy: Shop Manager has a Social Media tool under Marketing. Etsy's help center says it lets you share updates such as your latest listings (up to your 25 most recent), sales and 5-star reviews, and one of its articles names Pinterest among the supported sites. But you create each post yourself. The help article describes posting, not scheduling, and nothing about automatic posting when you add a listing.

Pinterest catalogs: catalogs are Pinterest's way to turn a product feed into product pins automatically. As of October 2026, Pinterest's help center says that before adding a catalog you need a business account, a claimed website, the Pinterest tag installed, and a website that meets its merchant guidelines. Its article on claiming websites says you must own the domain and be able to edit its source code, so you are "unable to claim most social accounts and online stores hosted on marketplaces like Etsy, eBay and Amazon." In plain terms: an Etsy-only shop cannot use Pinterest catalogs. Claiming is its own topic, covered in our guide to claiming your Etsy shop on Pinterest.

That leaves two real options: do it by hand, or use a third-party tool. Here is how they compare.

How to auto post Etsy listings to Pinterest with Pinsevo

Pinsevo was built for exactly this Etsy to Pinterest job. It reads public listings, so there is no Etsy login, no password and nothing to install. Here is the full setup, which you can see in more detail on how Pinsevo turns listings into scheduled Pinterest pins.

  1. Paste your shop link. Use your shop URL, a single listing link, or just your shop name. Pinsevo reads up to 100 listings from one link. You can also start with a single listing to test it.
  2. Set your brand style once. Choose your fonts, colors and layout. There are 503 pin designs (238 on the Starter plan), and your own listing photos go into them.
  3. Review the pins. Pinsevo writes keyword-focused pin titles and descriptions for each listing. Edit anything that does not sound like your shop, and delete pins you do not want.
  4. Approve. Nothing posts until you approve it. You can still edit, move or delete any approved pin before it goes live.
  5. Connect Pinterest and set the schedule. You only connect Pinterest when you are ready to post. Pick your boards, posting hours, pins per day and time zone. Pins from the same listing are spaced at least a week apart, and each pin links to the exact listing it came from.

After that, the schedule runs on its own. When you add new listings to your shop, add them to Pinsevo the same way, by pasting the shop or listing link. You can then watch views, saves and clicks in its analytics, and the Growth plan adds click data on which pins perform best.

Pricing is a founders offer as of October 2026: Starter is $9 a month, or $6.30 a month billed yearly, for up to 10 pins a day. The free trial is 14 pins, one a day for 14 days, with no credit card. If you mainly sell on Etsy, the Etsy to Pinterest automation page shows what it does with a shop link.

Pro tip

Do not approve 100 pins on day one and walk away. Start with your 10 to 20 best sellers, set a modest daily number, and read the pin descriptions before you approve them. Pinsevo's FAQ says most Etsy sellers post 3 to 10 new pins a day. Consistency over months matters more than a big first week.

How do you share an Etsy listing to Pinterest manually?

If you only have a handful of listings, the free manual routes work fine. They just do not scale.

From Etsy on desktop: go to Shop Manager, choose Marketing, then Social Media. Connect your accounts under Social accounts, select Create post, choose the post type, add images and a caption, pick your networks and post.

From the Etsy Seller app: tap More, then Social media under Marketing. Pick a listing, tap Share listing, choose one image or video, and tap Share. The app copies the listing link to your clipboard and hands you off to the social app, so you paste the link into the pin yourself.

From Pinterest: open the listing in your browser and save it with Pinterest's browser button, or build a pin in Pinterest's Pin builder with your photo, a keyword title and description, and the listing URL as the destination link. The Pin builder route gives you the most control over the image and text.

Use your Share & Save link on manual pins

Etsy's Share & Save program refunds 4% of the order total when a buyer orders within 30 days of clicking a trackable link you shared, as of October 2026. Eligible links include your yourshopname.etsy.com shop link and the listing links Etsy gives you under Share on the Listings page. Links in Etsy Messages or listing descriptions do not count. If you pin by hand, use those trackable links as your pin destination.

Can you schedule Etsy pins with Pinterest's own scheduler?

Yes, and it costs nothing. As of October 2026, Pinterest's help center says you can schedule a pin up to 30 days in advance and have up to 10 pins scheduled at once, created one at a time. Once scheduled, you can change the date, title, board, description and link, but not the image.

It is a decent stopgap. The trouble is the 10-pin cap: at two pins a day you are back every five days building pins by hand. That is scheduling, not automation. Whatever route you choose, the keywords in your pin titles still decide whether anyone finds the pin, so read our guide to Pinterest keywords for Etsy before you write them.

What other Etsy Pinterest automation tools are there?

A few other tools can handle part of the job. Pinsevo is our pick and our sister product, so weigh that, but here is how the main options differ as of October 2026:

  • Pinsevo: reads your public Etsy listings from a link, writes and designs the pins, and posts the ones you approve. No credits, from $9 a month.
  • Alura: an Etsy research suite whose "Pin New Listings" feature automatically creates pins for each new Etsy product. Pinterest marketing starts on its Growth plan at $29.99 a month, or $14.99 billed yearly, capped at 15 pins a day.
  • Tailwind: a full Pinterest toolkit. Tailwind Create builds pin designs from a photo and URL you supply. Pin Scheduling & Creation is $29.99 a month, or $17.99 billed yearly, with 300 credits, and each scheduled pin uses 1 credit.

Frequently asked questions

Does Etsy automatically post to Pinterest?

No. Etsy's Social Media tool lets you create posts about your listings, but you make each one yourself. Nothing posts automatically when you add a new listing.

Can I connect my Etsy shop to Pinterest catalogs?

Not if Etsy is your only storefront. Pinterest catalogs require a claimed website, and Pinterest says stores hosted on marketplaces like Etsy cannot be claimed.

Do I need to give my Etsy password to automate Pinterest?

Not with Pinsevo. It reads your public listings from your shop link, so there is no Etsy login or connection. You connect Pinterest only when you are ready to post.

Will auto-posted pins link to my Etsy listing?

With Pinsevo, yes: each pin links to the exact listing it came from, not your shop homepage.

How do I share an Etsy listing to Pinterest from my phone?

In the Etsy Seller app, tap More, then Social media, pick a listing and tap Share listing. The app copies the link so you can paste it into your pin.

How many Etsy pins should I post a day?

Pinsevo's FAQ says most Etsy sellers post 3 to 10 new pins a day. Start at the low end and keep it steady.
